Abstract: |
The scientific article analyzes key issues arising in connection with the aspects of legal regulation of the digitalization of the economy and the growth of e-commerce. It is noted that digitalization offers new opportunities for entrepreneurship, in particular through the implementation of digital platforms, omnichannel strategies and process automation. The impact of technologies on business models, legal regulation of electronic transactions, cybersecurity issues and consumer protection are studied. It is noted that leading digital platforms have become important tools for business globalization, as they simplify access to international markets, reduce the need for traditional infrastructure and ensure the integration of business processes. The article examines the legal regulation of electronic contracts and transactions. It is indicated that the development of e-commerce requires legal certainty regarding electronic documents, electronic signatures and digital identifiers. It is noted that in foreign countries we observe differences in approaches to digitalization and e-commerce, which creates challenges for international trade. Attention is paid to the challenges associated with the protection of consumer rights in the digital economy and trade. After all, new risks associated with privacy violations and fraud in the online environment are emerging. Therefore, international standards, such as GDPR, have been adopted to ensure a high level of personal data protection, while domestic legislation requires harmonization with international legal norms to increase the level of consumer rights protection. It is summarized that the digitalization of the economy and trade requires the adaptation of regulatory and legal regulation to new challenges, while creating new opportunities for improving legal mechanisms. The study of these processes will allow a deeper understanding of the needs for adapting the legal system for the next stages of the development of digitalization and e-commerce to ensure and maintain a balance between innovation and protection of the rights of national and international participants in the digital economy. |
