The regional investments play an important role at the current state of Ukrainian development. They are necessary for sustainable economic growth of the country in the future, increasing employment and improving the living standard of the population. The dynamics of capital investments in Ukraine for 2010-2017 has been analyzed. Trends in the use of capital investments in terms of individual industries have been revealed. The structure of capital investments by assets type and its peculiarities have been analyzed. The regional aspect of capital investments has been studied; an assessment of the level of investment activity in the regions of Ukraine has been given. The main reasons discouraging the effective investments into the economy of our country’s regions have been clarified. The measures aimed at improving the investment management in Ukraine as a whole and its regions have been described.
