Abstract: |
The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the fact that an effectively established control system at an enterprise is able not only to detect production defects or ensure their prevention, but also allows for timely and purposeful prevention of various deviations and failures in work, to promptly respond to them and eliminate the consequences with the least cost. This study focuses on statistical analysis methods that are widely used throughout the world to control the stability of processes and evaluate the production results based on sample measurements and allow detecting the deviations at the early stages of processes, predicting the possible problems and drawing up the statistically sound plans of actions. Practical activities show that domestic enterprises in this context lag significantly behind, preferring the continuous control, which results in a significant increase in costs. The main reasons for the negative attitude towards statistical methods in Ukraine are characterized and it is recommended to focus on seven graphical statistical quality control tools as the most relevant and used. They can be implemented both individually and in a complex manner, depending on the production conditions at all stages of the product life cycle. The main directions of possible application of each of the above tools in solving practical problems are proposed. The considered algorithm for implementing statistical methods, despite the fact that it covers a number of different steps, is still quite simple, does not require the significant financial costs and significant theoretical training of the involved personnel. At the same time, its implementation at Ukrainian enterprises will enable them to ensure the production of products that will meet the best domestic and international standards, and will provide a number of competitive advantages in the domestic and foreign markets. |
