Abstract: |
The article discusses the peculiarities of conducting scientific research at Ukrainian enterprises in the current socio-economic conditions. The dynamics of the number of operating enterprises in Ukraine in the period 2015-2024 is analyzed. In 2020-2021, there was a slight decrease in the total number of enterprises (to 370,834 in 2021), which may be due to economic difficulties and the impact of global crisis factors. An analysis of the structure of enterprises by size shows that small enterprises account for the majority. In 2024, just over 26,000 new businesses were registered in Ukraine, a decrease of 2.7% compared to 2023. Since 2006, Ukraine has seen a steady trend towards a reduction in the number of organizations conducting scientific research. The role of research and development in ensuring the innovative development of enterprises, increasing their competitiveness, and adapting to dynamic changes in the external environment was studied. The main problems affecting the organization and effectiveness of scientific research in enterprises have been identified, in particular economic instability, limited financial resources, personnel problems, and the impact of martial law on the development of scientific and innovative activities. Particular attention is paid to the problems of interaction between different levels of scientific research management. To coordinate and emphasize the need to develop comprehensive scientific programs, we have developed a model for conducting scientific research with a focus on the regional level. The main goal of comprehensive scientific programs is to provide scientific justification for the strategic directions of development of regions and enterprises located within these regions. Within the framework of this model, levels of management are identified, in particular the involvement of regional military administrations, district military administrations, higher education institutions, state authorities and local self-government bodies, and enterprises. The need to intensify research and development activities at enterprises as an important factor in stabilizing the functioning and recovery of the national economy is justified. |
