Abstract:

The article examines the ethical narrative of the information environment of social communications from the perspective of a human-centered approach in the context of the digital transformation of society. The study substantiates the relevance of developing new humanistic approaches to the communication environment caused by the growing crisis of trust in information content, the algorithmic dehumanization of digital spaces, and the proliferation of manipulative practices in the media. The essence of the ethical narrative is defined as a dynamic system of beliefs and values aimed at affirming human subjectivity, ensuring transparency in information policy, and fostering responsibility for content dissemination. Particular attention is paid to the humanistic dimension of social communications, within which the key components of the ethical narrative are identified: human subjectivity, the responsible use of artificial intelligence technologies, information ecology, and media hygiene. The study reveals the role of information ecology as a mechanism for the conscious consumption of digital content and distinguishes its individual, social, and national levels. Media hygiene is considered an important tool for counteracting information overload, misinformation, and manipulative influences in the digital communications environment. Based on a comparative analysis of technological and humanistic approaches to the development of the information environment, the research identifies a conceptual shift from the objectification of individuals toward recognizing them as active subjects and creators of meaning. The study demonstrates that the implementation of the ethical narrative contributes to the formation of a responsible and inclusive information environment, strengthens trust among participants in communication processes, and supports information security in society. Future research may focus on the development of specific mechanisms for maintaining ethical standards within public institutions and higher education institutions in order to strengthen information security in society.
