Abstract:

The article examines the process of Ukraine’s integration into European logistics networks in the context of contemporary global challenges. The relevance of transforming Ukraine’s transport and logistics system is substantiated, taking into account the consequences of the full-scale war, the reconfiguration of logistics routes, and the reorientation of foreign trade toward European Union countries. The essence of logistics integration is considered as a complex process encompassing infrastructural, institutional, technological, and organizational dimensions. Modern scientific approaches to logistics system management are analyzed, and their role in ensuring economic resilience and competitiveness is determined. The purpose of the study is to analyze the current state of Ukraine’s integration into European logistics networks, identify key challenges and problems of this process, determine the main drivers of development, and substantiate перспективні directions for improving the efficiency of the national logistics system in the context of European integration. The study employs general scientific methods, including analysis and synthesis to generalize theoretical approaches to logistics integration, as well as induction and deduction to formulate conclusions. A systemic approach is applied to assess the functioning of logistics systems. Comparative and analytical methods are used to examine current trends in the development of transport and logistics infrastructure. The method of abstraction is applied to develop a comprehensive model of Ukraine’s integration into European logistics networks. The study finds that Ukraine’s integration into European logistics networks is a multi-level process accompanied by significant infrastructural, technical, institutional, and security challenges. Key drivers of integration include the reorientation of trade flows toward EU markets, transformation of global supply chains, development of transport infrastructure, digitalization, and harmonization of the regulatory framework. The importance of Ukraine’s participation in European transport initiatives, particularly the development of the TEN-T network and the “Solidarity Lanes,” is substantiated. The feasibility of implementing adaptive strategies – such as route diversification, multimodality, digitalization, and the development of logistics hubs – is justified. A comprehensive model of Ukraine’s integration into European logistics networks is proposed, combining initial conditions, resources, implementation mechanisms, adaptive tools, and expected outcomes. It is established that the implementation of this model will contribute to enhancing national economic competitiveness, developing transit potential, and integrating Ukraine into global supply chains.
