Abstract: |
The article examines the essence of omnichannel logistics in the context of e-commerce development and substantiates the importance of technological solutions for synchronizing sales and delivery channels. The relevance of the topic is determined by the rapid spread of digital trade formats, the growing number of customer interaction channels, the increasing complexity of logistics processes, and rising customer demands for speed, flexibility, and transparency of service. It has been established that the competitiveness of e-commerce enterprises is determined not only by product assortment and pricing policy, but also by their ability to ensure integrated management of orders, inventory, delivery, and reverse logistics within a unified information and logistics system. The content of omnichannel logistics is clarified as a subsystem of the overall logistics system of an enterprise that combines online and offline sales channels, information flows, warehousing and transport operations, and customer service interactions. It is determined that the effectiveness of the omnichannel approach depends on the level of integration of sales channels, the coherence of logistics processes, the efficiency of real-time data exchange, and the ability to provide a seamless customer experience. The main digital tools of omnichannel logistics are characterized, in particular CRM, ERP, OMS, WMS, and TMS systems, as well as API integrations, cloud platforms, analytics tools, tracking technologies, RFID, IoT, and warehouse automation. Based on statistical data, it is shown that the development of e-commerce, growing customer requirements for delivery speed, and the scaling of logistics infrastructure increase the relevance of the omnichannel model. The main advantages of its implementation are outlined, including improved service quality, operational efficiency, and adaptability of the logistics system, as well as the main challenges associated with the high cost of digital transformation, the complexity of system integration, and the need for organizational restructuring of management. It is concluded that technological synchronization of sales and delivery channels is an important prerequisite for improving the efficiency and competitiveness of e-commerce enterprises. |
